The hot ticket item of the summer for kids is the National Trust’s booklet “50 Things to Do Before You’re 11 3/4” and they are ticking tasks fast. And here goes another one: building a den. Anaïs was working on a tee-pee type design and got assistance from Hugo- it was great team work.

Little Miss Celeste, however, always picks her own paths and also this time decided to build her own den utilising a part-fallen tree-top as her base. Hugo was giving his guidance and some manpower in dragging branches to this den also. End result: two not-so-waterproof but recognisable dens and three happy kids. Life is fun!
