would you do sauna on the street in finland

The city of Turku in Finland is one of the cultural capitals of Europe this year meaning that there is something going on all the time – especially in the summertime. As sauna is a huge part of the culture, they asked some designers to create design saunas, which are scattered around the city and by the sea.

We managed to spot two of them – one in the Aura river (which doesn’t look too clean) and the other next to a museum and a busy road. Ok, so I see the sauna, but where is the changing room and the shower…? I think these were not quite my cup of tea based on their location, but I love the looks of the buildings!
