unique celebration of italian history from cassina

My inspiration of the day comes from Cassina. This year they are celebrating the 150th anniversary of unification of Italy with 61 different tables from designer Gaetano Pesce. Figure 61 represents the number of regions that were united. What a way to celebrate!

This Cassina Cessatuna site is definitely worth exploring, and as an additional bonus you get to learn some Italian history too – for each table comes with a snippet of history from the area it represents.
