time to open the summer party season
Summer just arrived all of a sudden with hot weather 92 F (33c), blue sky and oh so bright sun. What a change it created in people’s mood! Plans for BBQs, pool parties and trips to beach are appearing the calendars, and yes, I am feeling that excitement too. The first skirt of the year and sandals are out en masse and sweet scent of sunscreen is lingering around…
We have picked up lots of lemons and will be trying first time ever to make lemonade. Hope it all goes well and we get a cooling afternoon break time with fresh lemonade and some savories! And the evening will be the time to start BBQ with the first corn on the cob for the year!
