sprayed concrete – in a dress

I have read about flexible concrete cloth used to create emergency shelters as it settles hard in a couple of hours, but a dress certainly is a novelty for me. A dress made out of sprayed concrete and embedded with purifying technology – so it has the ability to clean the air also. So green yet chic.

The dress, called “Herself,” is a collaboration between the University of Sheffield, London College of Fashion and the University of Ulster, and is part of a larger project to engage the public in the science of environmental pollution.
