Relax says the writing on the shelf, and relaxing is the word that pops into my mind when looking at this living room. At first look this looks like a more classic space, but a second look reveals the modern twist on the furniture: the arched and almost invisible glass coffee and side tables and the clear Louis Ghost chair.

The effect of the soft furnishing and the wall colour together immediately start working their magic – the oversized stripy cushions make the compact sofa appear wider than it actually is and in general a well-chosen colour palette makes the room larger than it actually is.
