This play area is just fantastic – what a smart design concept. Walls of storage and one with a full wall length desk so that kids don’t have to fight for the space, and this great cork board to display their artistic creations.

And isn’t that orange armchair and foot stool combination the cutest thing? Indoor basketball for rainy days could also be a great idea provided that you have some softer balls, but my bet is that the ball will quite so often to escape into the dining area through that opening though…

This room has certainly given me a lot of inspiration and I think that a perfect playroom will have plenty of (durable) smart storage, and desk space as well as space to play on rainy days. If one can do all that and make it look neat and contemporary my wish list would be complete – although I think I now might also want to add to this list a home gym with a glass wall so that one can exercise while monitoring what the little ones are doing. This is a truly smart and fabulous play room!
