sauna inspiration for home

Since we arrived in Finland we have been to sauna every day – oh that combination of hot sauna and cool water (preferably a lake or the sea, but in this case a little pool does the job). So not surprisingly I would *most definitely* like to have a sauna in our next house and was browsing for inspiration. Sauna is not just about the sauna room itself, but a combination of bathroom and dressing room areas and the joining outside terrace & water element too.

Oh how I liked this combination – although the sauna looks like a rather standard model, the shower area is just amazing. I am wondering though why there are benches there – maybe it doubles up as a Turkish steam bath too. Nevertheless, the rugged stone floors and the wooden structure give the image of being in wild nature and it just looks so good!
