rural modern hideway in new york

Isn’t this rural hideaway by Allied Works Architecture great?  The frame that goes around the house is most unusual for a residential house, and taken into account the surroundings of the house, and makes the whole residence look like a gigantic piece of art. I love both the wintery photos and the autumn leaves round the house. It is like chicken soup for the soul.

The house itself is located in New York, in Dutchess County – on the eastern slopes of Hudson River Valley in grand 350 acres. The large windows of the house create this close connection with the nature as the surroundings of the house have been left in natural state. The interior of the house is filled with very natural materials and tones and feels very relaxing.
