project twins’ room – finally there

So this is it – I would declare the twin’s room done for the next few years or so until they are ready for full-sized beds or bunk beds and possibly their own rooms too. I though it would be silly to spend a large amount of money on furniture that will be good only for a few years for a growing child, so this ended up being a very Ikea project bar the dresser we already had in the room.

This last stage included adding new bedding – both got the same sheet and pillowcases from Laura Ashley’s kids collection – the Monkey one that is also in Celeste’s quilt. Hugo’s crocodile quilt came from the same collection. As Hugo took down all the wall decals on his side before (and they ended up on the mirrored closet doors) we decided to add some new ones. This time he got to decorate himself the wall with some stickers – not the prettiest outcome but boy was he happy!
