oh those shutter headboards!
Shutters in the windows are cute, but their use is not limited to windows. They can be used as headboards, wall art, dividers.. you name it! Painted, cut into shapes – so many ways to use them!
I love the way these shutters have been used as headbaords, and the great thing is that one can do this pretty easily themselves – a dash of paint: soft pastel colours, brighter seaside palettes, contrasting colours…and for the rustic look maybe two tones and a bit of sanding afterwards. Now, I just need to find some used shutters…
