little delights around us…

One often becomes immune to the beauty and details around home region, especially if the weather is not so great. I have started paying more attention to the everyday beauty around us, and there is so much to soo. This recent trip started in one of my favourite stores – Restoration Hardware – and I was so touched by these fabulous caged chandeliers and floor lamps together with little sparkling lights and Christmas decor. I was beautiful!

On my way back to the car I noticed this lovely building that was closed off (hopefully something great will come out of it eventually!) – typical Mexican style, it was so out of the place in the city center, but at the same time it certainly added a lot of character to the more boring, mid-century buildings surrounding it.

The bank building covered by the green vines made it several degrees better, and the last little delight found on my walk were these funky table-chair combos. Just perfect for stopping and enjoying a little rest and a cup of coffee – on a bit warmer day!

Next time you go out try to challenge yourself to see something new and beautiful around you – and you just might get surprised too…
