finishing touches on easter decor
Here we go – compared to previous years when we had no Easter decoration, we have quite a lot this year. There is the Easter grass that keeps growing, the welcome-bunny at the front door, the egg wreath (which we tuned up with some butterflies), little nest with eggs, pastel M&Ms, and one more project to come – the branch project.
We went on Friday to get some crafting supplies for a play date (it seems to be the norm here to bring snacks and crafts to play dates) and I realised that almost all Easter decor was already half-priced.
So I snapped a whole bunch of little eggs and butterflies, and might go still back for a few little birds so that we can make our Easter/spring branch. That will be one of two branches where we hang these little treasures (and play that twins will leave them somewhat alone). Happy crafting everyone!
The door Easter bunny
Bird’s nest with eggs (then linen runner is actually meant for sauna, but we don’t have one so creatively it became a spring-themed table runner)
Cute spring-coloured M&Ms that I have also given as presents
Little eggs in the lantern and those M&Ms on display (slowly disappearing though…)
Our Easter grass with little eggs & chicks
Our easter-egg wreath before…
Easter-egg wreath after the butterfly tune-up. We’ll hang it on the wall with Easter-themed ribbons
And finally our $5 worth of supplies for the branch project
