it’s babbabox time

Our kids received a little while ago a craft box for review from Babbaco – a rather new subscription service, which sends you a monthly BabbaBox with 3-4 creative and engaging crafting projects plus additional online resources and ideas.

As November is the month of Thanksgiving, the theme of the month was not so surprisingly gratitude – which was also Miss Anaïs school theme and therefore very helpful to emphasize the meaning even more. This box is targeted for age group between 3-6 years of age, so we knew that most things might be a bit challenging for the twins, but Anaïs is just the right age, and she was able to read follow the instructions perfectly well.

That month the projects within the box included a card-making kit, a disposable camera for capturing images for creating a little hard-covered journal, a kit to make a thanksgiving plastic tray and a set to add a personalised message into a trivet for the Thanksgiving table. There was also a beautifully illustrated book – Giving Thanks by Jonathan London, and a little tea-kit surprise for the parents. The plan was to spread the projects over a period of time, starting with the card kit and that lovely cup of vanilla tea for mom.

We kicked off with the card making, as that was something the little twins could also participate in. Hugo is making a fish card for his grandparents

All kids enjoying their crafting session. Anaïs is making a tree card and twins are decorating their little cards. The card set had a total of 6 cards to craft on with envelopes, and two of the envelopes were already stamped

Each activity comes with a card that has the contents of the activity and clear instructions, so older kids can read themselves and develop their skills to work independently
