happy october

..aka month no 10 as it is called here in China. Today we are changing some home decor and kids are all set for some crafting – maybe leaf garlands or so. I can’t say that we feel very autumny yet as the weather is pretty warm, but yesterday at the dam we spotted some early foliage already. And a sure sign of course is the length of the day: around six in the evening it’s already pretty dark. 

Suitably for the theme on my recent trip to California my daugther’s best friend wanted to get hor something that she misses from the US; and her choice were Peeps – which at this time of year come in Halloween theme!
