cinco de mayo inspirations
My recent moderate crafting successes have inspired to try to make some Cinco de Mayo decorations with Anaïs, and we’ll be trying to make some of these cute tissue paper decorations found at Martha Stewart.
I also found this nice-looking recipe from Kraft, so we’ll see how successful we are…
And if you have a colour printer, these cute party circles from Tomcat studio are worth printing for some extra touch in the drinks
…and in case all other attempts fail, we made a little trip to Mi Puebla and stacked up on some Mexican buns, drinks and cookies. Happy celebration!
We love these colourful Mexican buns
And kids can have some coconut and mango drinks
This will be my own special recipe. This bread is what I call “holiday bread”, simple because growing up in Finland one could never get soft bread like this with a perfect crust – I only got it when on holiday in Spain or Germany. I’ll be making some special “celebration” sandwiches too!
