happy 6 mo birthday house of anaïs

Being on holiday is so much fun that I have been neglecting the blog a little bit. But in our family we like to celebrate and half-year birthday is one of those things that have made it to our list. House of Anaïs is now 6 months old and we certainly have been celebrating that among others things. There was the big, hot BBQ in England with some friends (and hot refers to the weather which appropriately changed from little rain and 70 F (21 c) to full sun topping 86 F (30 C). All kids were in the pool happily without turning blue that day!

Then we had some piña coladas and tapas, and continued the fun by the poolside in Madrid at the in-laws house – and the last leg of the celebration was a picnic on a deserted beach (yes, there are still plenty of those if you don’t go the large tourist trap areas) with Spanish goodies such as cured ham and goat cheese sandwiches and flan of course (my favourite dessert pretty much).
