I remember when this house, called Kemeys Folly, was featured on the Grand Designs TV programme – an old and run down tower in Wales that a family from London wanted to bring update to date – and extend with a very modern extension to suit better for family living. It took them a lot of work and money, but the outcome was exceptional.

A few years have passed and the house has been put on the market, as the current owners are looking to tackle a new “challenge”. In addition to this unusual house, the new owner will get to enjoy unrestricted views, 24 acres, swimming pool and stables with a clock tower. Not that bad a deal I would say..
