fun and tasty kids activity – making juice concentrate

The kids just love being with the grandparents and learning all kids of new facts and skills. Today it’s been all about picking berries – red and black currants and red and green gooseberries. Then the berries were boiled in the juicer. While that was taking place the kids were washing the plastic bottles and making labels for the concentrated juice.

Once the bottled juice cooled down the kids got to taste it and pour the rest of the bottles and put them in the freezer for the winter. Perfect day for kids with fun under the hot sun while helping grandparents and learning new skills!
