cool and ga-ga rustic kitchen

I pretty much thought oh la la – is this kitchen for real? This is such a suitable Friday inspiration piece. is it modern or country rustic – the verdict is still out but there is just everything there. Must be staged I am thinking – especially when looking up on the “second layer” of windows and the unusual beam setup.

I do love rustic French-style cabinet. And so do I like Agas and chromed appliances and surfaces (but hate cleaning them). The yellow island is mesmerizing, and I am certainly a fan of shiny white countertops and flexi-cord taps. Even the chandelier is pretty cool. The windows certainly don’t do it for me, but that’s a minor detail. But it’s the beams. They are wonky and all over the place – and frankly normally in the ceiling, and not on the walls. So it’s either funny fake, or some truly old and odd barn-like structure, and one of the most eclectic homes when it comes to mixing styles and colours.

For sure this kitchen grabbed my attention. The verdict is still out there if it is truly cool or mad. Any votes?
