classic finnish designs

I have been organizing my accessories (i.e. numbering crates in the garage as I have yet to get nice book shelfs or other storage units here in California) and came to a realization that I have a lot of local “design classics” from Finland, and that nowadays most of these items can be bought or shipped to almost anywhere in the world.

The only Item I am yet to own is the original Paimio #41 chair, which are hard to come by. I am not sure why I so love the sleek and timeless design of this chair – maybe partially because it was designed for the city I come from and serves as a great reminder of the beautiful Finland and Paimio.
