city walks in helsinki, finland

Welcome again with me to the northern capital of Helsinki in Finland. I’ve posted about the sights and places to visit in Helsinki last summer and two years ago, but autumn and winter (especially when there’s snow and sunshine) are very different seasons – however, they can still offer a lot to see.

What I love most about Helsinki is it’s seaside location and beautiful, colourful old Jugend-style (sort of art nouveau style) houses with pretty little details -a haven for those who like to walk and explore around the street, stop in tiny little cafes and shops hidden here and there…

In early November days are rather short and it’s pretty cold too, but the city still shines despite the grey weather this week – also this is the perfect time for those who love winter lights – the stores are already kitted for Christmas and people have started adding lights in their windows and balconies; it’s a delightful view in the evenings!

That said, I hope you’ll enjoy my little November Helsinki photo tour!
