We’ve been busy with the daily crafts, decorating and baking for Christmas. Today we have been creating one of the kids favourites -marshmallow candy canes. They did not turn out to look as lovely as in the pictures that originally inspired us, but tasted fabulous anyway. The plan was to use white chocolate, but my chocolate turned out to be not so great, so we used semi-sweet regular chocolate instead for dipping. And the snowy coating was made with extra-fine baker’s sugar. Next time we’ll try with the white chocolate then.
Anyway, for now we have already lined up ingredients for our next project from Miss A’s kids seasonal treat book. Let’s keep the thumbs up that these treats turn out exactly as planned!
