It seems that this space in really home-in-a-box, minus the bathroom. Amazingly one can spot the kitchen with its funky barstools, a separate dining area, a nice living room with a fireplace and even a sleeping loft can be seen peeking in the upper-left corner. As this little Brooklyn escape has a lot of light and extra height, it gives a feel of a spacious home.

There are some interesting and beautiful details too, such as the art above the Victorian-looking fireplace – it’s like a crosscut view of a giant matchbox. Cream is the base colour in this home, and oaky tones have been added on layers: starting from the sisal-type rug on the floor and the twisted bar stool, continuing to table- and countertops and the ladder – and finally ending in the little beams on the ceiling. These oaky tones bring freshness and nature to the picture together with the plants – and imitating plant prints on the cushions. What a lovely little home!
