white and cream city living

I grew up seeing nothing but the white Scandinavian interiors and muted tones, and by the time I had my first own place I was crying for colour. Now that we have been activating the house hunting mode a bit, I am craving for some white, cream and muted browns again. All I seem to see is okra, yellow, mint green and medium browns – and not only on the walls but also in the ceilings! My mind is crying for some zen-like balance and colour-coordination…

That said, here comes a lovely (detached) city-home filled with light, whites, creams and taupes – even some light grey tomes. I love the look and the feel of the house, although at this point of life with three little kids I could not do light fabrics unless there was a miraculous way to wipe them clean. Looking at dirty hand prints and crayon marks every day would drive me crazy…
