Casa Sugar is featuring the new house for this year’s American Idol finalists. This $12 m mansion in Beverly Hills surely is impressive from the outside, but the interior! I think it is way too imposing and overbearing for the young contestants if it comes with the pictured furniture. And even if it not, the large rooms and high ceiling hardly make it cosy enough.

I would have preferred to see them in a modern house decorated with pop art and music-related theme to get them to relax and get a feel of what future brings ahead. A bit like what they used to do with the Big Brother houses.

…or since the final stage only takes some weeks, why not rent the kooky Christina Aguilera house and give them of feel how really successful singers live?
