underground but not understated
This is one underground pad I would not mind living in. British company Huntsmere is known for unusual and innovative designs, and their latest project – Perdu (french for lost) – certainly will be one of the most talked ones this year in the country. This ultra-modern house will have most of the living space arranged on two levels underground (all you see on ground level is the stone folly in the picture) and will feature quirky details such as waterslide between floors.
Why is the building undergroud? The answer lies probably in the location – this house will be built in the front garden of period mansion Limehurst, so a planning permission upwards was probably not granted.
