the room of anaïs

Those who have read my very first blog post “welcome to the house of anaïs”  (read here) know that the reason we originally bought a house and moved away from central London to English countryside was little miss Anaïs.

So here we finally go – pictures of the room of Anaïs. However, this is not her first room in the little country cottage we used to live, since I didn’t really take too many photos there once the renovations were finished. Rather, this is the next house, the more modern one – and once again I did not think of capturing the “before” pictures, so these are just the “after” pictures.

In this case the after included installing dark wooden floors and painting the pale (and dirty) yellow walls with one rather bright pink wall and the rest in a peachy tone (all washable non-toxic paints). The fairy on the walls has travelled to US also and has been moved 4 times and is still doing well.

As little kids can be mean to furniture, the whole has been kitted with nicely priced Ikea (no marks or chips by far even after all the moves!) and little lounge chair was from the White Company.
