the five-minute diy that didn’t go so well…

Unfortunately I am often the kind of person who wants to implement her new ideas now and think later…so of course when I didn’t find my level and measuring tape I was still so sure I could just get things right without them…but the outcome was not so good!

Some time ago I found a bunch of these little vinyl writings on sale, and just bought a few of them thinking I’ll use them one day. Since we have earthquakes one is adviced not to hang things above the bed, so my solution to freshen up this rental home was to use a cute ready-made decal kit.

Great idea, but wonky implementation – which the husband wanted to get down. Maybe next time I’ll do better! On the positive note I’ve been getting my goodnight kisses every night even since 🙂
