swiss house love is in the air
This Swiss home is a bit of an enigma to be. It looks like a mini Alpine castle, with some oriental hints to it, has an amazing lakeside location in Switzerland (and having lived in the country land and lake views like this certainly are scarse, and houses and plots normally are pretty small!), and decor that is halfway to fabulous modern with open-ended staircase – and the other half from a century-old English country home with Sash-type windows, wild floral wallpaper and patterned flooring.
This is a pretty unusual combination indeed. Sadly there aren’t enough pictures to judge if this is a work in progress, so one just needs to use some imagination to picture the amazing place it could be if it was furnished and geared more towards a single style. I have to admit that with these lake views it is not hard to do all that renovation in one’s mind!
