This remodel of a San Francisco town home has been a great success – they have managed to keep the classic feel while adding plenty of contemporary features and fittings. There are all these traditional built-in furniture in the playroom and living room, country-style panelling in the kitchen and then the total contrast of sliding and revolving doors, not to forget that wide modern staircase.

The house also has an ecological rooftop garden, which helps with the insulation the winter and cooling in the summer. This town home gets lots of love from me!
