spring bloom in filoli

Last time we visited the gardens of Filoli it was still winter and the difference to late summer is astonishing. The rose gardens in full bloom – oh I could have spent the whole day smelling all those different varieties. Even with the not so blue sky the gardens were magnificent.

It is great how they keep changing the potted plants and creating new displays and color scenes around the year. How beautiful nature can be…and it always is so relaxing to stroll around too listening to the birds chirping.
