At first glance this house looks more like it is located in California or Colorado rather than in Johannesburg, South Africa, where it is currently offered for sale by the prestigious Sotheby’s. Nice architectural shapes, modern pebble-framed courtyard with geometrical planting areas, use of water elements, and most importantly emphasis on lighting design.

I also love some of the owners interior decor choices, the restaurant-like bar setup under bluish lights in the kitchen, media room cushy and colourful scattered seating areas, and I spotted my long-time favourites – stone-shaped moon lights.
