pure white everywhere in casa b
Funnily enough I was discussing yesterday how I grew up in a typical Finnish environment where pure white walls and ceilings were the norm, and then I came across this amazing house in LA-based XTEN Architecture‘s portoflio. This house is so pure when presented unfurnished – just gleaming white everywhere. On floors, walls and ceilings, closets, counters… The exception is the outside as the exterior walls are smooth black plaster.
The house, called Casa B, is a complete interior remodel of a 60s hillside home in Hollywood Hills area. My favourite room in the house – the kitchen as it opens to a large terrace and stairs leading to the rooftop jacuzzi deck and most certainly, impressive views.
