pretty little things and so functional too

They have finally arrived in the house, and should I say “en masse”. Dear husband got a new little flock of those cute and so colourful Kuhn Rikon Swiss knifes for his birthday (here’s my original post in July about these cuties that we spotted and tested in a friend’s house). He swears in the name of these knives and I have to admin that they cut well. There are more colours in the selection than there are in a rainbow, and even super-cutie polka dot ones!

When we first tested the knives I was prepared to fork out a good $100 for a knife, as that’s the kind of minimum good ones cost. Then I did my research and realised these only cost a fraction. And few days ago I accidentally came across a huge bunch of these at the local Home Goods and starting at just $6 or so. I was such a happy shopper! One last thing to mention – every knife comes with a matching cover – that is very much needed too as these knives are sharp. For once beauty and function combined with a truly great price!
