pink hermes birkin bag vs. fisker karma

I am browsing Portero, one of these new sites offering limited editions of luxury designer goods for discounted prices. And I spot this cool hot pink limited edition of the Hermes Birkin Bag. But the discount price is  $64750 – in what world is that a discount price??

Given the choice, would I take this bag or the cool Fisker Karma electronic car – it starts at $80k but has so much use than the bag (gets you in place, keeps you warm, gets the husband seal of approval…).
