This house on the 80th street has gone on the market with a $90 m price tag. And what makes it even more amazing is that it was bought for just $6 m in 1995 when it was used as a gym. Now restored to a pre-war glory, the 18000sq ft (1700m2) is filled with decorative details and fine antiques. Apparently the whopping price tag is justified because the house is full renovated, unlike other similar houses in the market. Still, the price comes down to $5000 per square foot, and I though that the California prices around $600/sq ft were outrageous already!

Quite a nice return for your money I say. And so is the fee for the selling agent…
