more modern malibu dreams

We were in Malibu today and there certainly were a lot of oohs and aahs when we were admiring (mainly) modern statements on the beach side as well as larger hillside masterpieces. Here is one of those lovely hillside Malibu houses – this one was competed this year and happens to be now on the market.

If you are the lucky owner of $15+ extra millions, this compound of eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms plus nearly ten acres could be yours – as well as the eternal sunshine and sea views.

I must say thought that the interior of the house lets the exterior of the house a bit down – one would expect a bit more funky classic designs, paintings or other objet d’art rather than all those grandma style cushions and round chairs (and yes I know, when one buys the house the interior normally doesn’t come with the sale but still – there are certain expectations one builds up in mind based on the exterior…).
