modern florida beach house

I haven’t seen that many modern houses in Florida, except maybe in Miami. Typical florida houses seem to be more colonial or recreations of southern houses, so this beach house is a refreshing find. This 7700sq ft (715m2) house in Nokomis, Florica house is called Oasis by the Sea and was designed by architect Guy Peterson in 2008.

The outside details are just stunning and the inside provides some great features too. Especially the spacious kitchen with what looks like rich walnut cabinets. In general I am a fan of open-plan living rather than having a separate kitchen, dining room and several lounges.

There is not much to say abut the interior since it is clearly staged (although not so well) for sale -this is a brand new house on the market for $6.3m.
