Stellar Living 2011 is the fourth installment of Mercer Union’s Living exhibition and auction series in Torontoand the organizers asked Canadian and international creators to share their insights and provide new models for how we live.

This Log Chop Bench from Everyday Design is one of the auction items and represents an exploration in process-based design, and this unique piece will be up for auction at Mercer Union’s 2011 Stellar Living Contemporary Art & Design Auction on May 12th, 2011.

This bench actually looks pretty comfy as a seat and has still the feel of a very ecological furniture, unlike the standard wooden benches.
