Architectural Digest has a nice feature on the 2011 Pritzker price winner, architect Eduardo Souto de Moura.
His portfolio has some beautiful and interesting pieces, both residential and commercial ones. He does not only create new modern pieces and a great example of his restoration skills is the conversion of this 12th century convent into an Inn. He kept the old historic exterior and was able to do this modern take on the interior without loosing the old spirit!
