Maison & Objet 2011 in Paris took place a few weeks back and here’s my favourite piece from Ligne Roset there. The Rewrite designed by GamFratesi. This would be ideal for our little schoolgirl to keep her focused and cocooned when doing homework and it would also prevent all the school papers and supplies falling on the floor. Truly beautiful form and function in one.

I also like the Confluences sofa collection, what a burst of colour and using the new trend, counterforms, as characterised by the interwoven yin-yang or puzzle-type effect designs.
