lasting kids diy art project that suits toddlers too

While I was away the twins were busy at the nursery in their Halloween celebration. They had their little parade showcasing the box airplanes parents had helped to build, followed by some treats and t-shirt making. For once I thought the ideas were nice, and the takeaway craft to home (the t-shirt) was a useful, visible – and somewhat lasting memory.

And I think the shirts will work well outside the festive season too, if so desired. This t-shirt would be great for a birthday party or some other seasonal event too – especially if one get some pre-printed one for the event and then lets the kids to work on the details… Miss A. was learning about the creativity theme the pat month at school, and part of that they got to tie-dye t-shirts, and she certainly though it was a fun activitity too. They used one colour for each grade, and then had a very colourful special assembly at school. It was a lot of fun to look at!
