lamps, lamps, everywhere

I still keep going on about lamps. We’ve been looking for table, floor and ceiling lamps for my sister’s apartment. We found some retro 70s ones from Ikea – I still recall my parents having something like this in yellow when I was little. Both the orange and white ones would fit to the colour scheme in the apartment very well – the question is now whether my sister should go for a smaller table lamp or larger floor one – or maybe both…

This other lamp on the bottom seems very un-Ikea like for me with its asymmetrical wooden bead-looking base. I like it, but it’s not really my sister’s style…

I wish I could post the latest from my sister’s apartment, but it’s a mess right now! She has moved in although we are still waiting for the new fridge-freezer and kitchen countertops, and since we are still looking for wardrobes and some other furniture (lamps included), so there are now just tons of boxes and a couple of pieces of furniture – therefore it is not very presentable…
