kids decor week at home

Miss Anaïs keeps asking to help with the Easter decor and in general too, so this week we have been studying the “Art of Display” – book. After learning about the basic concepts of grouping objects, she set on to do some of her own (with mommy’s approval) and this is the outcome.

Since I don’t want to use many of the breakable accessories until the twins are older, the decor utilised mainly what the kids love to collect when we go out- pine cones, sea shells and little rocks and we used a wooden bowl and another quite ordinary but durable glass one.

Pine cone bowl

The lemons were switched into pine cones (we have a lemon tree outside the house)

Outdoor findings

Every time we go out the kids come back with sticks, pine cones, sea shells – you name it

Grouping

This is almost the only surface in the house we can “dress” and this is the new grouping that twins have already tested (think of flying pine cones)
