georgian mansion – bargain on the market?

Kings Weston, a Grade1 listed Georgia mansion in England, which looks like a magnificent French chateau was recently put on the market in England. The current owner bought the house on 2000 and as it was in need of renovation he put all his efforts to it – at the cost of his marriage.

Now, forced to sell the house due to the divorce, he is facing a grim sell. The renovations cost up to £2.8 M ($4.6 M) plus the original acquisition cost and the house has been put on the market for £2 M ($3.3 M) – so somebody’s going to get a bargain in a fantastic condition! As you can see from the pictures though, most of the house is being used for business purposes currently and only a small portion of this 20-room estate has been reserved for personal living…so a great business opportunity there?
