from christening dress to wall art

My little twins won’t be that little soon as the magical 2-year milestone is approaching. Yesterday I came across with the Christening dress our girls wore (since we have twins we had to borrow one more dress for the occasion).

The dress we have is rather new, but it is a hand-made piece of art from Spain and I would like to see it passed up from one generation to another as a tradition going forward (and have the children’s names embroidered in it as a memento).

As the dress is really pretty, I though I could try to find a lovely glass-fronted frame to have the dress on display when it is not being used. Now I would love to get some tips on suitable frames – I think it should be something romantic to match the style and maybe in cream…
