How unusual is the ceiling of this kitchen – traditional checkered pattern in green and white. The cream and olive-green combination is so fresh, and the matching accessories – plates, rug, teapot and flowers work so well together.

I haven’t been the biggest fan of using green in the kitchen, but this room certainly gave me plenty of inspiration and ideas how to be add bold accents in unusual places.  It most definitely falls in the “winner” category!
