dreaming of that perfect vacation
I like vacations with variety – meaning that some sun and beach is a big plus, then add some culture in terms of places to see and experience, and a little bit of original and affordable shopping is a positive factor too. Comfy hotel, lack of constant tourist crowds, and tasty food are also great plus for me.
Now I know I’m getting a bit greedy here, but dreams have no limits, so I’ll lay it all bare (I hope the husband will read this post too..) – I know the significant other would like to pack it up and sail around, but I am a bit of the seasick type on small boats, but I could settle on a luxury cruiser. Australia and Polynesia come hing on my list, not to forget the mountains of New Zealand, but long flights never attracted me – and even less now with little kids in tow (they are generally well-behaved, but we have experienced one meltdown flight across the Atlantic, and bad memories fade away so slow).
So could someone please tailor a luxury cruise with high-quality childcare to cover down under and something in between on the way to Asia, which is like a treasure chest on all factors from nice weather and culture to food and experiencing everything new!
As I am no spring chicken any longer, spa treatments after hard day of “holidaying” could also be added to the wish-list, not to forget the mind – so yoga would be my choice of chicken soup for the soul…
