cybertecture for gadget geeks
James Law Cybertecture is definitely hot at the moment. The designs are very innovative and appealing. Here’s the ultimate residential cybertecture of the moment currently under constrcution by Omniyat properties – the Pad Tower in Dubai.
This building will be the first completely intellectual property in the world, and comes with features such as iReality, iHealth, IEntertainment, iToggle and so on, and even has an efficiency of 87% – so both green and gorgeous. Not to mention that the living room and dining room rotate to give you the best views of the city. The building has interesting common spaces too: iUnderwater concert, iOxygen Bar, pretty much anything i-themed one can think of.
The dream of a gadget geek and heaven for aesthetics and health conscious. What do you think? I am looking forward to seeing this one finished.
The exterior of the building reminds me of a cross between Tetris game and a circuit board
A piece of art with the lights illuminating the night
Soft, round forms teamed up with bold coloured lighting
Colour mix of hot pink, green, dark graphite and polished steel
The rotating living room – iRotation Room
iFamily – video linking your iPad with the family around the world
Same themes of form and light and being connected at all times continue in leisure facilities
